Corrupt text generator

A little interference, or a completely haunted signal. Your words stay yours.

0 / 2,000

Your original stays unchanged, including accents and emoji.

Budget counts UTF-16 units. Marks count separately; an emoji may use several units. Platform limits can differ.

Keep essential text readable.

Heavy marks may be clipped or filtered by an app and can sound confusing in a screen reader. Test the result where you plan to paste it.

Real text, with a broken signal

This corrupt text generator adds Unicode combining marks above, through, and below letters and numbers. The output is copyable text, rather than an image or a downloadable font.

Start with Flicker for a readable username or short caption. Glitch adds a more visible texture; Cursed stacks stronger marks for horror headings and game clues. The budget reduces decoration across the phrase without cutting off your words.

How presets and budgets work

Before you paste

Does it work in Discord and game names?

Rendering and field rules vary. Some apps remove combining marks or reject decorated usernames. Paste into the destination first and use a lighter preset if needed.

Can I get my original back?

Yes. Copy original always uses the untouched input in this tab. Removing marks from somebody else’s text can also remove real accents, so this tool keeps the source instead of guessing.

Why are there more characters than letters?

Each added mark is a separate Unicode character. The counters show UTF-16 units and UTF-8 bytes so you can see how much the output grows.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Generation happens in this browser tab. Reloading clears your input.
